To understand the reasons for the popularity of special education, just look back and analyze crisis trends in our country. Let’s honestly answer the question: who was the first to fly out of work in the crisis? That’s right – those who are engaged in strategies, development, new areas, innovations. Things are certainly necessary, but in the understanding of the layman – meaningless and ephemeral.

Indeed, how many of the random passers -by, come to them on the street and ask such a question, they will be able to tell what the specialist responsible for development and new directions is doing? Representatives of these specialties lost their work first.

Let’s see on the other hand. Whose position in the crisis was the most stable? Those who have a real specialty, those who do a real work (and this is not necessarily a person with a special education). Accountants, dentists, educators of private kindergartens, ordinary workers who are now very in demand and earn much more than the same marketers. All these people in the crisis are protected much better and remain in demand after all crisis shocks. They rarely lose their jobs, and if they lose, find a new fast enough.

People finally began to appreciate and pay for real, understandable, and most importantly – well done work.

Professorism again in price

Many say that small business in Russia bends: they say, not today, so tomorrow will die. This is wrong. Everything is in order with small business, he just moved to another segment-from IT technologies to a more “real” sphere. The number of farms, networks of mini-stores, private kindergartens and schools with in-depth study of English is growing. And everywhere people who know how to work with their hands are required – because the founders of business themselves are now those who know how to work with their hands.

And this is natural. Fortunately, we return back to the scenario that we had once had, and then lost, but stayed in Europe and the USA. This scenario is about the value of manual labor and good qualifications.

I really like to tell one story on this topic. She is about happiness.

Once my husband and I flew to the USA, left the airport and decided to rent a car. The choice was huge: a whole series of car rental points, of various. And the most ridiculous to us was the one in which they offered to rent cadillacs. On the one hand, it’s great: you are in America, you sit in the cadillac and rush with a breeze along the highway 66 from one coast to another. You fly to the sunset, and your hair flutter in the wind … as in a movie. On the other hand, where we are, and where the Cadillac? It is completely irrational, it is much more reasonable to take the most ordinary machine.

And so I see pink cadillac in a huge rental window. And I say to my husband: they say, we have only arrived, the mood is excellent, come in, I will take a picture (I am a girl or not?). “Well, come on, only we will not rent it,” the husband replies. Naturally, I agree: I am a sane woman, we will not rent, of course. We go in, and there is a seller. Years, probably 56-58, huge, pot-bellied and incredibly cute. I don’t remember what was his name, but let Jim be.

Jim sees how I take pictures and starts telling me about this Cadillac. But not like a car, no. He perfectly understood why I went and what I see in this car. He begins to draw all these pictures to us: road, freedom, pink Cadillac … All this incredible driving by car from films. This is the dream of a whole life, this happens once, and it is in this – real America.
